  • 2018 NCAA Championships…15th in the shot put to earn second-team All-America honors
     

  • 2018 Pac-12 Championships…4th in the shot put, 6th in the discus throw
     

  • 2017 NCAA Championships…6th in the shot put with a mark of 64-1 to earn first-team All-America honors
     

  • 2017 Pac-12 Championships…2nd I the shot put
     

  • 2016 NCAA Championships…12th in the shot put to earn second-team All-America honors
     

  • 2016 Pac-12 Championships…4th in the shot put, 16th in the discus throw
     

  • 2015 NCAA Championships….8th in the shot put with a mark of 64-1…that mark set the USC freshman record and he became the first Trojan freshman shot put first-team All-American
     

  • 2015 Pac-12 Championships…3rd in the shot put, 8th in the discus throw
     

  • Began his collegiate career at Florida for the 2013-14 school year, but did not compete

  • Ponzio has a personal best of 71-3.25 (21.72m) in the shot put set on July 24, 2020
     

  • Ponzio gained Italian citizenship on June 15 as his great-grandfather emigrated from Sicily to the United States
     

  • 2021 Italy Athletics Championships…Won the title with a best mark of 68-2.25 (20.58m) which he had in the third round.
